About the job

This is a key role within our growing organization, responsible for building and maintaining strong relationships with clients, as well as creating business opportunities based on Sentoo’s products and payment options. The ideal candidate has a proven track record in sales and account management, with the ability to identify and pursue new business opportunities. We are looking for someone who is proactive, with strong communication and interpersonal skills and is able to build long-term trust and credibility with clients.

What you'll do:

  • Serve as the primary point of contact for merchants in Aruba, offering support and fostering long-term relationships founded on trust.

  • Collaborate closely with the sales, marketing, and product teams to identify, pursue, and close new business opportunities.

  • Align your account strategy with team objectives — contributing to the success of shared campaigns, growth initiatives, and go-to-market plans.

  • Lead client conversations through the full sales cycle: from discovery and product demos to proposals and onboarding.

  • Be proactive in identifying merchant needs and matching them with the right Sentoo solutions — both A2A and beyond.

  • Represent merchant feedback and market insights internally, helping shape how we communicate, position, and improve our offerings.

  • Stay up-to-date with market trends and developments in the Caribbean payments space to identify emerging opportunities.

The ideal candidate for this role will have:

  • Minimum 2 years of experience in account management, business development, or sales — preferably in fintech, SaaS, or payments.

  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with a strong ability to build trust with clients and colleagues.

  • A team player who thrives in a collaborative environment and enjoys working toward shared goals — not just personal targets.

  • Experience working with remote or hybrid teams, and comfortable using digital tools for collaboration.

  • Willing and able to work closely with marketing, sales, and support to align priorities and drive coordinated go-to-market efforts.

  • A track record of achieving sales success through customer focus, strategic thinking, and teamwork.

  • Proactive and self-motivated, able to take initiative while staying connected with the broader team.

  • Eager to learn about the Caribbean payment landscape and how Sentoo’s products solve real-world challenges.

  • Fluent in Papiamento, English, and Dutch. (Spanish is a plus.)
